New Micro Pub The Firkin Frog Opens In Herne Bay Kent

Formerly Steve’s Kitchen Showroom, the premises has undergone a massive transformation to become Herne Bay’s Micropub. Steve, together with long time business colleague, Mark, have teamed up to bring the best of British cask ale and local banter to the people of Herne Bay.

The old shop front has been transformed to look more like a pub, and we have installed another door entry point to replace the old communal entry door which was part of the planning application to change the use of the building into a micropub.

Dear Malcolm

At last we can give you an update. Planning permission was granted last week and we sign contracts with the Landlord on Friday.

It will be all systems go to get the place furnished and stocked as we plan to open early May. At least that's the plan anyway!  We will let you know a definate date as soon as we know.
